Students must be highly proficient in the English language, meeting minimum undergraduate degree language proficiency requirements;
Non-Queen's Interest students are those who are not currently studying at Queen’s University including those who have completed, or are currently enrolled in an online program at Queen's. Applicants must be over 21 years of age in the calendar year of admission. This is not intended as a pathway to on-campus studies and students are unable to enroll in courses outside the Faculty of Law.
Non-degree interest students may complete the Certificate in Law after completing two 700-level Law courses and upon meeting the Faculty of Law's academic progression policy (a minimum final grade of C+). You will then be eligible and provided an option to be matriculated into the Certificate in Law.
Current students are those who are currently enrolled for on campus studies at Queen's University and have completed at least their first year of studies in a full-time undergraduate degree program in person (minimum of 18.0 units). Applicants who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.60 may apply for direct admission into the Certificate in Law.
Current Queen’s students can take Certificate in Law courses as electives without admission to the program. Please note that no more than two 200-level Law courses can count towards your certificate requirements. You must have a minimum cumulative 2.60 GPA to qualify for acceptance into the program.
